The piping, buttons and straps are with leather. But they are not the real calf leather.

 
Piping is made of PU leather, button and straps are made of microfiber leather.

 
 It is not that we don't want to use real calf leather, it is because all this accessories has professional factories to produce them. Taking piping

as example.

 
There is a rubber cord insize of the piping, it is impossible to use calf leather to make the piping, because real calf leather is the natural leather,

it is with limited length and unequal shape between each piece, but to make the piping, it has to be a long leather with unlimited length, so it

can be put into the machine, and get it wrap with the rubber cord, if using real calf leather, that would means you need use hand to connect

a length with another length once the whole piece of leather is used out. This will cause the piping different in the size, and impossible to

proceed. Because piping is not get touched, using the synthentic PU leather is totally safe and qualified, and it can persist at around 5-10 years

without problems. If someone told you they are using piping made of real calf leather, unless they are not importing this chair from China, and

 handmake the piping, otherwise, they are lying.

But that doesn't mean the piping and buttons will be very easy to get problems if using PU leather to make them. Below is the piping and

buttons we make. They are all with good quality.

Using bad leather in the piping will get problems, but ours are never with such problem, and we are able to fix any problem you face in the

usage of barcelona chair.
